Today is not just another Monday. It is the Monday before the release of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.
(Pause for dramatic effect as I silently scream in place as I type this)
I am ecstatic for the release of this next movie and I can’t wait to go see it. I do have a slight anxiety about going to movie theaters (I haven’t been to one I close to 8 years) so I will definitely be going to one of the new theaters where you get one of those comfy seats and you don’t have to be near another person.
If you have been in a coma for the last three years Fantastic Beasts is the most recent release of stories in the world of Harry Potter.
Fantastic Beasts and where to find them was originally published back in 2001 by J.K. Rowling under the pen name of Newt Scamander. Now, this book isn't the same as the movie that came out in 2016, Fantastic Beasts and where to find them. It is a book about fantastic beasts themselves.
J.K. Rowling did publish another version of Fantastic Beasts and where to find them The Original Screenplay. This would be the book of the first movie. So if you haven't read them get on it. You are missing out people.
It wasn’t until 2013 that Warner Bros. And Rowling announced that they would be producing a line of films inspired by the book. The first movie was Fantastic Beasts and where to find them which will be followed by four other movies.
So that means we have years ahead of us of great anticipation of needing to know more about the wizarding world.
I am just as excited for that as I am to see this movie itself.
If you haven’t seen Fantastic Beasts and where to find them than you need to stop what you are doing (after you finish reading this of course) and go watch the movie! You can find the movie on Amazon for either DVD or Digital Download. I recommend the Digital. You don’t have to wait then. (I'm not currently an affiliate of Amazon I just love them and use them all the time)
Bahaha, I love instant gratification, don’t you?
I will admit that I didn’t watch Fantastic Beasts and where to find them until a couple months ago. I know I know I'm ashamed of myself as a Potterhead and lover of the entire wizarding world. I did tell you I have an anxiety right. LOL
Well, No excuses this time. This girl is going to get herself to the theater and indulge herself in the big screen experience. I just might need to take a flask with me to have a big girl drink to calm my nerves.
I want to leave you all on this note. A trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.
