Kari Koenig Food and Drinks

I wouldn't say that I am anywhere near the most devoted moviegoer. Actually, I'm kinda on the delayed side of things. Several years ago I discovered that I have this anxiety about going to movie theaters. I really fear sitting next to people I don't know. So my solution to that is that I just don't go. YAY! Avoidance is the key. Right?!

So. Um. To the Point.

I finally watched one of my favorite men's movies. Yes. I am talking about Mr. Benedict Cumperbach. His voice is just so amazing.

Benedict Cumperbatch

(Shaking head to get back on track) I really can get distracted by this man.

I watched Dr. Strange. It has been on Netflix now for I don't know how long and apparently I have been in a mood where I don't want to be entertained by his awesomeness. If you haven't seen it check out the trailer here.

I did love the movie. I didn't quite agree with some of the aspects of the storyline, but who is ever 100% happy right?

After watching this movie it really got me thinking about strange things involving alcohol. Well, alcohol was where my brain went first after I did my post about alcoholic drinks that are Harry Potter inspired, Nerdy Drinks for a Nerdy Girl.

I do have a great curiosity for other strange things involving Benedict Cumberbatch, but that will have to wait for another post.

On to the drinks. I decided that I wanted to find something delicious that Doctor Strange would realistically be found drinking while he is continuing to expand his knowledge of sorcery.

I found a multitude of drinks that were very pretty with all their colors swirling about.

I found my favorite drink idea and recipe from  Cocktails & Comic Books. They really get into the debate of what Strange would drink as a person. Being a doctor and wanting to drink more refined tastes I completely agree with their conclusion. I don't see Strange drinking something that is fruity or super crazy, but he would love a Sherman, which is basically a Manhattan. I don't know about you, but this sounds pretty awesome right now. I know what I will be drinking the next time I watch the movie.
